Broderick Johnson
Broderick D. Johnson has served as the Executive Vice President of Public Policy and Executive Vice President of Digital Equity at Comcast since 2021 a company based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Before joining Comcast, Johnson served at law firms such as Covington & Burling LLP and Bryan Cave LLP. He also held positions at Bell South and AT&T.
Johnson’s career includes roles in government, including serving as Deputy Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs under President Clinton and later as Assistant to the President and Secretary of the Cabinet under President Obama. Earlier in his career, Johnson made significant contributions to legislative efforts in the House of Representatives.
In addition to his corporate and government roles, Johnson participates in organizations such as the Obama Foundation, My Brother’s Keeper Alliance Advisory Council, Black Economic Alliance, and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, among others.
Johnson’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan.
