David N. Farr

David Farr has been on the Board of Directors for IBM since 2012. Previously he served Emerson Electric Co. as Chief Executive Officer from 2000 to 2021; Chairman from 2004 to 2021; President from 2005 to 2010; and Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1999 to 2000. Mr. Farr first joined Emerson in 1981, holding various executive positions. He previously served on the boards of the Delphi Corporation, United Way of Greater St. Louis, Webster University, the National Association of Manufacturers, the Municipal Theater Association of St. Louis, and the General St. Louis Area Council.
