Mergon does not provide its employees with protections against viewpoint discrimination, but has not publicly terminated business relationships based on views or beliefs. The company requires all leaders to complete DEI training. However, it does not discriminate against religious organizations in its charitable giving and has not used its corporate dollars to support ideological groups or agendas hostile to freedom of expression. For these reasons, Mergon receives a Lower Risk rating.
