WASHINGTON, D.C. — 1792 Exchange today announced it has surpassed 4,500 published profiles in its flagship Corporate Bias Ratings database, a significant achievement that underscores the organization’s growing role in delivering actionable data to help American businesses get back to business and establish durable neutrality.
This milestone highlights the rapid expansion of the nation’s premier resource for tracking corporate politicization, viewpoint discrimination, and ideological risks that can affect shareholders, employees, consumers, and broader markets. The database equips investors, policymakers, journalists, and everyday Americans with clear, data-driven analysis of how companies engage in political and cultural activism.
“American consumers, shareholders, and employees deserve real transparency, accountability, and neutrality from the businesses that shape our economy,” said Douglas Napier, CEO and Executive Chairman of 1792 Exchange. “Hitting 4,500 profiles gives the public powerful visibility into corporate actions that influence markets, consumer choices, and fundamental freedoms.”
The Corporate Bias Ratings assess companies across key areas, including political spending, charitable contributions, employment policies, supply chain activism, and corporate governance. Each company receives individual ratings of Low, Medium, or High risk—represented by green, yellow, or red indicators—along with an overall risk rating on the same scale.
As of the latest update, 1,074 companies carry a High Risk rating, 1,261 are rated Medium Risk, and 2,224 fall into the Low Risk category.
The platform is now a trusted tool for elected officials, institutional investors, journalists, and individual consumers seeking objective information on corporate ideological engagement and associated risks.
In April, 1792 Exchange launched an upgraded website featuring enhanced search filters and new data tools, making it easier than ever to navigate and analyze the database. Among the additions is an enhanced Activist Giving Filter, which helps users identify companies that may be directing charitable funds through politicized platforms.
“Corporations do not operate in a vacuum, and boardroom decisions have impacts that reach far into American society,” Napier added. “Our goal remains straightforward: deliver the facts, empower informed choices, and champion the idea that businesses should focus on company performance, not divisive politics.”
