Barry Sommers

Barry Sommers has served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Vice President of Wealth & Investment Management at Wells Fargo since 2020. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Sommers served as the Chief Executive Vice President of Wealth Management at JP Morgan. Mr. Sommers served in various other positions while at JP Morgan Chase including Chief Executive Officer of the Consumer Bank, Chief Executive Officer of Chase Wealth Management, and Chief Executive Officer of JP Morgan Securities. Before joining JP Morgan Chase, Mr. Sommers served as a Senior Director and Chief Executive Director of Private Client Business at Bear Stearns and Vice President in the Asset Management Division at Goldman Sachs. He holds a B.S. from Ohio University.
