Marlene Debel

Marlene Debel has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of MetLife since 2019. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Debel served as the Executive Vice President and Head of Retirement & Income Solutions at MetLife from 2018 to 2019 and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of U.S. Business from 2016 to 2018 and Executive Vice President and Treasurer from 2011 to 2016. Ms. Debel currently serves on the Board of Directors at Raymond James Financial since 2020 and previously served as the Global Head of Liquidity Risk Management and Rating Agency Relations at Bank of America from 2009 to 2011. Ms. Debel served as an Assistant Treasurer at Merrill Lynch from 2007 to 2008 and in various other leadership positions from 1988 to 2007. Ms. Debel currently served on the Board of Directors at LaGuardia Community College Foundation and previously served on the Board of Directors at the Women’s Forum of New York from 2019 to 2022.
