Enbridge, an energy infrastructure company, vets vendors for LGBTQ policies and does not protect viewpoint protections for its employees. However, the company has not publicly terminated business relationships based on views or beliefs. The company covers the cost of "medically necessary transition-related care” for its employees and their children. Enbridge ties executive compensation to ESG performance and its CEO signed the CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion pledge. It was recognized by Bloomberg on the Gender-Equality Index and by Equipeap Gender Equality in Canada. Enbridge provides unconscious bias and anti-racism training for all its employees and partners with multiple ideological organizations. The company discriminates against religious organizations in its charitable giving. However, it has not lobbied for ideological purposes. For these reasons, Enbridge receives a Medium Risk rating.
