The company covers transgender-related medical costs for its employees and their children and provides specific sexual orientation and gender identity-based benefits. It also uses sex and gender ideology criteria in employee recruitment, vendor selection, marketing, and philanthropic support. Enbridge forces employees to undergo multiple ideological trainings and uses its reputation, corporate funds, and political influence to support controversial sex and gender ideologies, organizations, and legislation. Enbridge ties executive compensation to ESG performance and its CEO signed the CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion pledge. It was recognized by Bloomberg on the Gender-Equality Index and by Equipeap Gender Equality in Canada. Enbridge provides unconscious bias and anti-racism training for all its employees and partners with multiple ideological organizations. The company discriminates against religious organizations in its charitable giving. However, it has not lobbied for ideological purposes. For these reasons, Enbridge receives a High Risk rating.
