There are no publicly known cases of Medtronic terminating business relationships due to religious or political beliefs. Medtronic received a score of 100 on the Corporate Equality Index from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). Among other requirements, this means the company has pledged to vet vendors based on LGBTQ policies (1).

Medtronic matches employee donations to registered 501(c)(3) charities but does not permit donations to houses of worship or to “hate groups” (1)(2)(3). However, Medtronic’s grant program does not appear to discriminate against religious groups (4).
