Reddit, a blogging, discussion, and content aggregation website, has terminated posts and censored forums that supported Donald Trump, opposed certain aspects of gender theory, and questioned the efficacy of COVID-19 lockdown policies and vaccines. For these reasons, Reddit receives a High Risk rating.

In 2020, after 800 site moderators petitioned the site’s administration to “ban hate speech”, Reddit instituted sweeping rule changes that led to the banning of numerous conservative subreddits (1). For example, the largest pro-Trump subreddit and various boards critical of certain aspects of gender ideology have been banned since the rule change (2)(3). Reddit has also acted against accounts that question the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines and lockdown policies (4)
Charitable giving (including employee matching programs) policies or practices discriminate against charitable organizations based on views or religious beliefs.
Reddit Inc. does not have a donation program. It does pay for employees to take time off to volunteer, but it does not list the criteria for which organizations are eligible for this program (1).
Uses corporate reputation to support ideological causes and/or organizations hostile to freedom of expression.

Reddit does not publicly fund ideological groups hostile to freedom of expression.
