Sirius XM, which is mostly owned by Liberty Media, vets vendors according to LGBTQ policies, is part of the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, and does not provide its employees with protections against viewpoint discrimination, but has not publicly terminated business relationships based on views or beliefs. Sirius XM has committed to public advocacy for LGBTQ and DEI-related causes. Sirius XM has not discriminated against religious organizations in its charitable giving or used its PAC dollars for ideological causes. For these reasons, Sirius XM receives a "Medium Risk" rating.

Sirius XM and its subsidiaries incorporate ESG into all of its business practices (5). Sirius XM does not discriminate against religious organizations in its charitable giving. “The mission of SiriusXM Cares, a $25 million donor-advised philanthropic fund, is to contribute to organizations and take actions that promote and further social equality, education, hiring, and combat racial injustice” (1). Sirius XM and its subsidiaries have an employee matching program, but nonprofit eligibility details are not publicly available (2).

Sirius XM and its subsidiaries have committed to public advocacy for or engagement with LGBTQ causes, such as celebrating Pride Month with music channels and specials (1).
