Biography:

Lisa Jackson became the Vice President of Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives at Apple in 2013. Prior to that, Mrs. Jackson oversees Apple’s efforts to address climate change and leads Apple’s $100 million Racial Equity and Justice Initiative. Prior to her time at Apple, Mrs. Jackson was appointed by President Barack Obama as Administrator of the US Environmental Protection Agency from 2009 to 2013, where she focused on reducing greenhouse gasses and expanding outreach to communities on environmental issues. She briefly served as New Jersey governor Jon Corzine’s Chief of Staff in 2008. Before that, Mrs. Jackson worked at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, as the Assistant Commissioner of Compliance and Enforcement and as Assistant Commissioner for Land Use Management from 2002 to 2008. Mrs. Jackson currently serves on the board of Tulane University, SF Film, Conservation International, and the American Film Institute.
