SPRINGBORO, OH — 1792 Exchange has analyzed campaign donation data for executives and board members at Fortune 10 companies and discovered that not a single dollar went directly to the Donald Trump campaign or other explicitly named “Donald Trump” associated funds. But $315,680.45 went directly to Kamala Harris’s campaign or other explicitly named “Kamala Harris” associated funds. Seventeen individuals at 7 of the Fortune 10 were responsible for the donations to Kamala Harris.
“Want to know which business executives are too focused on the social and political issues of the day? Just follow the money,” said 1792 Exchange CEO Daniel Cameron. “The very lopsided bias found in senior leadership of many of America’s most powerful public companies is quite obvious when looking through our Board Bias Database. We hope all American consumers realize this alarming trend and we will continue to help point the way back to common sense for corporate America.”
Throughout the 2024 election cycle, a total of $3,340,314.90 from leaders at the Fortune 10 went to both Democratic and Republican recipients like candidate campaigns, PACs, and more. Out of that total, $2,295,809.42 (68.7%) went to Democrats across the U.S, whereas only $1,044,505.48 (31.3%) went to Republicans. That’s a greater than 2:1 ratio in favor of Democratic candidates.
The donations that went specifically to the Kamala Harris campaign or “Kamala Harris” associated funds came from executives and board members at Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Berkshire Hathaway, CVS Health, UnitedHealth Group, and Walmart. You can learn which individuals at each company donated to Democrats or Republicans by exploring the Board Bias Database. The database also includes donation data from executives and board members of the wider Fortune 250 list as well.
