David Zapolsky has been the Senior Vice President of Global Public Policy & General Counsel at Amazon since May 2014. Before this, he held several positions within Amazon, including Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary from 2012 to 2014, Vice President and Associate General Counsel from 2002 to 2012, and Associate General Counsel from 1999 to 2002. Zapolsky has served as a Director for the Alliance for Education since March 2014 and the Berkeley Law Alumni Association since February 2015. He is also a Corporate Advisory Member of the National Legal Aid & Defender Association, a member of the Leaders Council for the Legal Services Corporation since January 2017, and a Director of the UW Foundation since September 2019. Previously, he was a Trustee for the King County Bar Foundation from 2012 to 2021 and a Founding Board Member of Seattle JazzEd from 2010 to 2013.
