Biography:

Ann Kappler has served as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Prudential Financial since 2020. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Kappler served as the Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Head of External Affairs at Prudential Financial from 2015 to 2020 and Deputy General Counsel and Head of External Affairs from 2014 to 2015 and Vice President, Chief Legal Officer Litigation & Regulation and Head of External Affairs from 2012 to 2014 and Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Corporate Services from 2009 to 2012. Before Joining Prudential Financial, Ms. Kappler was a Partner at WilmerHale from 2007 to 2008 and Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Fannie Mae from 1999 to 2006. From 1988 to 1998, Ms. Kappler was a Partner at Jenner & Block. Ms. Kappler served as a Judicial Law Clerk to Associate Justice Harry Blackmun from 1987 to 1988 and to Judge Abner Mikva from 1986 to 1987.
