Biography:

Daniel (Dan) Simkowitz has been Co-Head of Corporate Strategy since June 2021 and Head of Investment Management since October 2015 at Morgan Stanley. Prior to this he was Co-Head of Global Capital Markets from March 2013 to September 2015; Chairman of Global Capital Markets from November 2009 to March 2013; and Managing Director in Global Capital Markets from December 2000 to November 2009. He first joined Morgan Stanley in June 1990. Mr. Simkowitz began his career at Alex Brown and Sons as an Analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions from 1987 to 1989. He currently serves on the board for Single Stop, the American Museum of Natural History, and the U.S. Olympic Committee Foundation.
