Dominic E. Macklon

Dominic E. Macklon has been the Executive Vice President of Strategy, Sustainability & Technology at ConocoPhillips since 2021. Before this role, he was the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Technology from 2020 to 2021, President of the Lower 48 from 2018 to 2020, Vice President of Corporate Planning & Development from 2017 to 2018, and President of UK operations from 2015 to 2016. From 2012 to 2015, Macklon served as Senior Vice President of Oil Sands in Canada, was Area Manager of Darwin, Australia from 2010 to 2012, Development Manager of Norway from 2008 to 2010, New Ventures Manager in Perth, Australia from 2006 to 2007, Director of Upstream Knowledge Sharing from 2004 to 2005, Development Supervisor of the San Juan Basin from 2002 to 2004, and Director of Strategy & Portfolio Management from 2001 to 2002. From 1997 to 2001, he held various project lead and leadership positions at ConocoPhillips, after serving as a Senior Drilling Engineer at Conoco from 1995 to 1997 and as a Well Operations Engineer from 1991 to 1994. Additionally, Macklon is the President of Spindletop Community Impact Partners.
