Biography:

Howard G. Buffett became a director of Berkshire Hathaway and President of Buffett Farms in 1992. Mr. Buffett is the Founder, CEO and Chairman of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, which he established in 1999. Since 2010, Mr. Buffett has been a Director at The Coca-Cola Company, and was a Director at Coca-Cola Enterprise from 1993 to 2004. Mr. Buffett became a Director of Lindsay Corporation from 1995 till 2010. Mr. Buffett has previously served on the board of directors at Agro Tech Foods and Sloan Implement. From 2002 to 2006, Mr. Buffett was a Director at ConAgra Foods and a Director at The GSI Group from 1995 to 2001. Mr. Buffett served as the Chairman and then the Director of Archer Daniels Midland Company from 1991 to 1995. Mr. Buffett also took an interest in local politics in Nebraska serving as County Commissioner of Douglas County from 1989 to 1992, Chairman of the Nebraska Ethanol Authority and Development Board from 1989 to 1991, and Sheriff of Macon County in 2017. Mr. Buffett has a long history of serving on philanthropic boards. Outside of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, Mr. Buffett has served on the boards of National Geographic Council of Advisors, WWF, Illinois and Nebraska Chapters of the Nature Conservancy, Ecotrust, Africa Foundation, Barefoot Foundation, One Campaign, and Commission on Presidential Debates. He has also founded the Nature Conservation Trust and is a founding director of the Cougar Fund.
