James J. Kavanaugh

James J. Kavanaugh has been Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations at IBM since January 2018 and has served on the Board of Directors for T0Mobile since July 2023. Prior to this he served IBM as Senior Vice President of Transformation and Operations from January 2015 to January 2018; Vice President, IBM Controller from May 2008 to January 2015; Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Distribution from January 2006 to May 2008; Vice President of Finance and Operations, IBM Americas from May 2004 to January 2006; and Vice President of Finance and Planning, IBM EMEA from February 2002 to May 2004. He first joined IBM in 1996, serving in various Finance Executive Positions until 2002. Before his time at IBM, Mr. Kavanaugh was the Chief Financial Officer, Americas Global Services from 1993 to 1996.
