John Laughter

John Laughter is the Executive Vice President and Chief of Operations at Delta Air Lines, where he has accumulated 30 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Emory University.

Aside from his corporate role, John is actively involved with non-profit organizations, including the Georgia Tech Aerospace Engineering School Advisory Board, the Atlanta Habitat for Humanity Board, the Georgia Tech Flying Club Board, and the Monastery of the Holy Spirit Board of Visitors.

In terms of political contributions, John has supported both the Republican and Democratic parties, donating $15,800 to the Republican party and $2,000 to the Democratic party. His extensive experience, education, and community involvement reflect his commitment to the aviation industry and civic engagement in Atlanta, Georgia.
