Biography:
Lance Uggla is the CEO of BeyondNetZero, a climate growth equity venture of General Atlantic. He joined General Atlantic in 2022. Prior to that, he was Chairman and CEO at IHS Markit, an information company that merged with S&P Global. He founded Markit in 2003 and took it public in 2014. In 2016, Markit merged with IHS. Earlier in his career, he held executive roles at both Toronto Dominion Bank and The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. He graduated with a BBA in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
