Biography:
In April 2019, Manuel joined Citibanamex as Head of Products and Segments for Global Consumer Bank Mexico, and in November 2019 he was named Chief Executive Officer of Grupo Financiero Citibanamex.
In 2012 Manuel became Executive Vice President for Consumer and Retail Products before which position he Led numerous businesses after joining Banorte-lxe in 2008. Prior to this, Manuel worked for El Banco Nacional de México in the Corporate Bank. In 2005, he became Managing Director for Credit Cards and prior to this he held several positions in different areas in Corporate Banking, Wholesale, Commercial and Consumer Business after joining in 1991.
