Sonu Mittal

Sonu Mittal currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Single Family Acquisitions at Freddie Mac, a position he has held since March 2023. Previously, he was the President, Head of Mortgage at Citizens from 2022-2023. He also served as Citizens’ EVP, Head of Mortgage from 2019 to 2022. Before that, he was SVP, Head of Retail Mortgage from 2018-2019. From 2015-2018, he was the Capitol One Senior Director for Mortgage Production and Digital Transformation and from 2009-2015, he was the Director of National Directo to Consumer Sales for Home Lending. He served as Capitol One’s Vice President for Home Loans State Sales for Chevy Chase Bank from 2004-2009. From 2000-2004 he served within Capital One as the Retail Banking Officer for Sales Management for Chevy Chase Bank.
