Brent McIntosh
Brent McIntosh has been the Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary for Citigroup since 2021. McIntosh has also been on the Board of Directors for The Alexander Hamilton Society since 2021, the Advisory Council for OMFIF since 2021 and the Board of Advisors for the National Security Institute, George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School. Prior to this, McIntosh was an Advisory Partner for Andreessen Horowitz from June 2021- October 2021 and an Adjunct Senior Fellow for International Economics and Finance for the Council on Foreign Relations from February 2021 – October 2021. Before working with Citi, McIntosh worked with the U.S. Department of the Treasury as their Under Secretary for International Affairs from 2019-2021 and their General Council from 2017-2019. Before working for the Treasury, he worked for Sullivan & Cromwell LLP as a Partner from 2011-2017 and Special Counsel from 2009-2010. Prior to Sullivan & Cromwell, McIntosh worked for the White House as the Deputy Assistant to the President & Deputy Staff Secretary from 2007-2009 and Associate Counsel to the President from 2006-2007, the U.S. Department of Justice as their Deputy Assistant Attorney General from 2005-2006, their Counselor to the Assistant Attorney General 2005-2005, their Senior Counsel for a few months in 2005 and their Counsel from 2004-2005, Sullivan & Cromwell LLP as an Associate from 2001-2004, the U.S. Court of Appeals as a Law Clerk from 2000-2001 and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit as a Law Clerk from 1999-2000.
