Biography:

Brett C. Gerry became Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President of Global Compliance of Boeing in May 2020. Prior to that, he was the President of Boeing Japan from 2017 to 2020. Since 2008, Mr. Gerry has served in several leadership positions in the Law Department, including Vice President and General Counsel for Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Chief Counsel to Boeing’s Network and Space Systems business. Previously, Mr. Gerry was an Associate Counsel to the President of the United States; he also worked at Goodwin Procter LLP and was a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Washington D.C. Circuit as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. Currently, Mr. Gerry serves on the Board of Trustees for the Museum of Flight in Seattle and is a member of the Advisory Board for the University of Washington Law School’s Global Business Initiative. Prior to this, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Seattle Shakespeare Company, the Alliance for Education in Seattle, the Board of Governors for the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan and was Co-Chair of the U.S. – Japan Business Council Committee on Travel & Tourism.
