Brian Setzer

Brian Setzer became the Executive Vice President of Walmart in February 2023. Before that he was its Chief Financial Officer for Health & Wellness from August 2021 to February 2023. Prior to Walmart, Mr. Setzer worked at Highmark Health, as Executive Vice President of Enterprise Planning and Operations from December 2020 to August 2021, as Executive Vice President of Government Markets from July 2018 to December 2020, and as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer from October 2017 to July 2018. Before joining Highmark Health, Mr. Setzer worked at Cigna, as the Chief Financial Officer of the Seniors Segment from December 2012 to July 2014, as Senior Director of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis from August 2010 to December 2012, as Chief Operating Officer from September 2005 to 2010, as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives from May 2004 to September 2005, as Senior Director of Operations from September 2002 to May 2004, as Compliance Officer/Internal Auditor from April 2001 to September 2002, and as Director of Finance from November 1998 to April 2001. Prior to Cigna, Mr. Setzer worked at Saturn from 1988 to 1998 as a Finance Team Leader, General Supervisor, Senior Financial Analyst, and Financial Analyst.
