Biography:

Chris Bummer joined the Board of Directors at Fannie Mae in 2021. Mr. Bummer has also served on the Board of Directors at K2 Integrity and Public since 2022 and has been a member of the Blockchain, Crypto and Digital Currencies Advisory Council at PayPal since 2022 and previously served as a Senior Advisor at Paradigm from 2021 to 2023. Mr. Bummer has served as the Co-chair of the Fintech, Crypto and National Security Task Force at the Center for a New American Security since 2022 and founded Washington D.C. Fintech Week in 2015 and Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council since 2012. Mr. Bummer has been a Professor and Faculty Director of Institute on International Economic Law at Georgetown University since 2009. Mr. Bummer served on the Technical Advisory Committee at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission from 2018 to 2022 and a member of the Consultative Working Group for the Financial Innovation Standing Committee at the European Securities and Marketing Authority from 2019 to 2021. From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Bummer served on the National Adjudicatory Council at FINRA and was a Senior Fellow at the Milken Institute from 2011 to 2017.
