Chris Koster

Chris Koster has served as the Secretary and General Counsel of Centene since 2022. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Koster served as the Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Centene from 2020 to 2022 and as Senior Vice President of Corporate Services from 2017 to 2020. Before joining Centene, Mr. Koster ran as the Democrat nominee for Governor of Missouri in 2016 and lost. In 2009 and 2013, Mr. Koster served as the Missouri Attorney General. In 2007 Mr. Koster left the Missouri Republican Party and joined the Democrat Party. Mr. Koster served as a Republican Missouri Senator from 2004 to 2006. In 1994, 1998, and 2002, Mr. Koster served as the Prosecuting Attorney for Cass County and As the Assistant Attorney General for the office of the Missouri Attorney General from 1991 to 1993.
