Christopher T. Hatto

Christopher T. Hatto was named vice president, Global Business Solutions in January 2020. In addition to this role, he remains chief accounting officer, a position he’s held since 2018. Hatto joined GM in 2007 as the assistant controller for Securities and Exchange Commission reporting. He then held subsequent regional controllership positions responsible for Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and General Motors International Operations. In 2013, Hatto became chief financial officer of Customer Care and Aftersales. In 2016, he joined U.S. Sales Operations as chief financial officer for U.S. Chevrolet, Buick and GMC. Before joining GM, Hatto was a vice president at Goldman Sachs and the corporate controller and chief accounting officer at Tower Automotive. Earlier in his career he held financial leadership roles at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen.
