David Cordani

David M. Cordani has served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Cigna Group since 2009 and has been a member of the Board of Directors at General Mills since 2014. From 2008 to 2009, he was President and Chief Operating Officer at Cigna, and from 1991 to 2008, he held various leadership roles including President of CIGNA Healthcare, President of Health Segments, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CIGNA HealthCare. Before joining Cigna, Cordani worked as a Senior Auditor at Cooper & Lybrand from 1988 to 1991. He also founded The David and Sherry Cordani Family Foundation, established in 2012. Cordani has held positions on the Board of America’s Health Insurance Plans from 2019 to 2020, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Korea Business Council and India Business Council from 2015 to 2020, and was a charter member of the Board at ChildObesity180 from 2009 to 2018. Additionally, he has been a member of the Business Roundtable since 2010.
