Dean Acosta
Dean Acosta became the Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for Lockheed Martin Corporation in May 2019. Previously he served as Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at Resideo from October 2018 to May 2019. Before his time at Resideo Mr. Acosta was Vice President of Global Communications at Honeywell from January 2016 to October 2018. Prior to this he worked at Phillips 66 as their Global Head of Corporate Communications from 2014 to 2015 and Global Head of Media Relations, Internal and External Communications from 2011 to 2014. He was the Director of Communications for Lockheed Martin from January 2010 to July 2011 and the Director of Communications, Chairperson and Industry Representative, Coalition for Space Exploration at Boeing Space Exploration from May 2007 to January 2010. Prior to this Mr. Acosta worked for Qorvis MSLGROUP from January 2007 to May 2007 and at NASA Headquarters as their Chief Spokesperson and Deputy Assistant Administrator for Public Affairs from February 2003 to January 2007. He began his career as a Broadcast, Print, and Radio Journalist working for Energy News Live, The Arizona Republic, and two local TV Stations (KPNX and KABB) from January 1990 to January 2003. Mr. Acosta currently serves on the board for The Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum.
