Dionne Wallace Oakley

Dionne Wallace Oakley s senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Freddie Mac. She joined Freddie Mac in 2021, and is a member of the company’s senior operating committee. Her previous role at Freddie Mac was as SVP – Chief Human Resources Officer and Interim Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer from 2021-2022. Prior to Freddie Mac, Wallace Oakley spent 33 years in the insurance industry, including serving as EVP, Human Resources and Strategy at Erie Insurance from 2018-2021. From 2012-2017, she was Erie Insurance Group’s SVP for Human Resources and from 2011-2012, she was the VP of Talent Management and Human Resource Business Partners. For over 22 years, she worked a variety of leadership roles at State Farm Insurance: from 2009-2011, she worked as the Corporate Human Resources Director and from 2008-2009, she was a Claims Section Manager. From 2005-2008, she served as State Farm’s Northeast Zone Human Resources Manager, and from 2002-2005, she was the Assistant Manager for Human Resources & Agency Recruiting for Pacific Northwest. She was also a Public Affairs Specialist for State Farm from 2000-2002. From 1999-2000 she served as Management Development Coordinator for State Farm and from 1995-199 she was a Senior Human Resources Specialist/ Recruiter. From 1989-1995, she was a State Farm Personal Lines Underwriter & Commercial Service Supervisor.
