F. William McNabb III

Frederick William McNabb III has been on the Board of Directors for IBM since September 2019 and UnitedHealth since February 2018. He has served on the Board of Directors for Altruist since January 2021; Nexii Building Solutions, Inc. since January 2021; Vanilla since August 2021 and Axiom Global since 2019. He has also been an Advisor for Venrock since August 2023. Previously Mr. McNabb served The Vanguard Group as Chairman from 2008 to 2018 and Chief Executive Officer from 2008 to 2017. He first joined the company in 1986. Mr. McNabb began his career teaching at The Haverford School from 1979 to 1983. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the USRowing Foundation, CECP: The CEO Force for Good, the Philadelphia School Partnership, the Philadelphia Zoo, the Wharton Center for Leadership, and the Dartmouth Athletic Advisory Board. He serves the Raj & Kamla Gupta Governance Institute as the Executive in Residence and is on the Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership Advisory Board.
