Gerald Johnson

Gerald Johnson joined the Board of Directors at Caterpillar, Inc. in 2021 and has served as the Executive Vice President of Global manufacturing and Sustainability at General Motors since 2019. Mr. Johnson served as the Vice President of North American Manufacturing and Labor Relations at General Motors from 2017 to 2019 and Vice President of Global Operational Excellence from 2014 to 2017. Mr. Johnson joined General Motors in 1980, at the Fisher Body Plant in Euclid, Ohio and has served in various roles since. Mr. Johnson served on the board at UNCF and is a Trustee at Kettering University.
