Biography:
Heidi Mason has served as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Freddie Mac since March 2022. Previously, she was a Partner at ElevateNextLaw from 2020 to 2022. She served at Wells Fargo in several different capacities. From 2017-2019 she was the EVP, Senior Deputy Counsel and Head of Consumer Banking Legal. From 2014-2017 she was the Deputy General Counsel and Head of Enterprise Services and Legal Operations and from 2011 to 2014, she was the Associate General Counsel and Head of Consumer Protection and Consumer Lending. She was the Managing Counsel in Mortgage Lending from 2002 to 2011 at Wells Fargo. Before that, she worked for Skadden Arps from 1990-1998 as an Associate.
