Biography:
John Laney became the Executive Vice President of Walmart U.S. food division in October 2022. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Laney served in several Senior Vice President and Vice President roles pertaining to merchandising at Walmart from 2016 2022. Mr. Laney worked as a Senior Category Director and director of planning from 2013 to 2016. From 2006 to 2012, Mr. Laney worked in the Buyer department at Walmart, his roles ranging from Assistant Buyer to Senior Buyer. John Laney is the Honorary Chair of Shared Beginnings, a non-profit dedicated to supporting foster families.
