Jon Alferness

Jon Alferness became the Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Walmart, Inc. in November 2022. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Alferness served as the Executive Vice President of Technology and Chief Product Officer at Vero Bank from February 2022 to November 2022. Mr. Alferness also served as the Vice President of Rideshare at Lyft from 2020 to 2021 and Vice President of Growth and Marketing from 2018 to 2020. Before Joining Lyft, Mr. Alferness worked at Pinterest as the Senior Vice President of Ads and Commerce from November 2017 to March 2018 and as the Head of Ads Product from August 2017 to November 2017. Mr. Alferness served as the Vice President of Product Management at Google from May 2012 to July 2017 and served in multiple roles pertaining to product management from 2004 to 2012. Outside of corporate responsibilities, Mr. Alferness is on the Board of Directors at Extra Food and has been since August 2021.
