Jon Erik Fyrwald

J. Erik Fyrwald is the president and CEO of Syngenta, a position he has held since June 2016. He joined Syngenta after serving as CEO of Univar from 2012 to 2016. Fyrwald has an extensive background in the industry, including leadership roles at DuPont and Nalco Company. Fyrwald attended the University of Delaware, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. Fyrwald is actively involved in various organizations and serves on the boards of directors of Syngenta, Bunge Limited, CropLife International, the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, and the UN World Food Program Farm to Market Initiative.
