“Now, any consideration of where we’re at needs to acknowledge that the industries we serve and the clients we serve have historically been a big part of the problem of creating the emissions and therefore the climate change issues that we see today. However, it is equally important that we understand that those same clients in these same industries have the opportunity to be a major part of the solution going forward. Now, I believe this is in our best interests and we can start by changing our mentality from this being a problem we need to solve to an opportunity that we have before us. In 2010 I worked with the Obama Administration and Under Secretary Kristina Johnson to lay out the transition plan for an 83% carbon reduction at the societal level for the United States of America.”
