"And so the first step in diversity is understanding that those people exist and they have something to bring that is going to be valuable to you as an individual and valuable to the organization. And I'm really proud of the diversity. Like, diversity is in our DNA at Standard Charter. It's just in our DNA, I mean, just because of the nature of where we do business. But what I'm most proud of is we have made that show up in our leadership team."

"Well, quite frankly, it would be selfish to say I have seen that because we have more diversity, female diversity, but also ethnic diversity that's in our DNA, because the nature of where we do business, we attract a more inclusive talent set. We attract the most talented, diverse folks on the planet because they know that they will not be held back because of their packaging. They know they will be able to reach their full potential."

"So, first and foremost, I think we talk about DEI a lot, but I really like to talk about it as a business imperative because it's really another strategy or a way to win. It's not this side thing that you do because it's right. You do it because you need to really represent the consumers and the customers that you want to attract. And so it's a business imperative."
