Katie O’Connell Jones

Biography

Katie O’Connell Jones has served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer at Fannie Mae since 2022. Ms. Jones is the Owner and President of POET Consulting LLC, which she founded on 2018. From 2019 to 2022, Ms. Jones served as the Chief Human Resource Officer of PRA Group. Before joining PRA Group, Ms. Jones served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resource Business Partner Group and Integration Leader at SunTrust from 2013 to 2017 and Senior Vice President and Senior Human Resource Business Partner of Consumer Bank and Mortgage from 2009 to 2013. Ms. Jones served as the Senior Vice President of human Resources and Chief Human Resource Officer at United Guaranty Corporation from 2007 to 2009. From 1990 to 2007, Ms. Jones served as the Senior Vice president of Human Resources at SunTrust. Ms. Jones is a member of the University of South Carolina Regal and Emory HR Advisory Board and the University of South Carolina Center for Executive Succession Advisory Board and is a member of The Conference Board CHRO Council.
