Leon E. Panetta
Leon E. Panetta, currently serving as a Director at Oracle, has had a distinguished career in both politics and public service. He held various roles in the U.S. government, starting with his appointment as Director of the Office of Civil Rights under President Richard M. Nixon. Panetta was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives for California as a Democrat, serving from 1977 to 1993. During the Clinton administration, Panetta served as Director of the Office of Management and Budget from 1993 to 1994 and later as Chief of Staff from 1994 to 1996. He became the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 2009 to 2011 and subsequently served as the Secretary of Defense from 2011 to 2013 under President Barack Obama.
