M. Diane Koken

M. Diane Koken joined the Board of Directors of Nationwide Mutual Insurance in 2007. Ms. Koken has also served on the Board of Directors at The Hershey Company since 2017 and previously served on the board of Capital BlueCross from 2011 to 2022 and NORCAL Mutual from 2009 to 2021. From 1998 to 2008, Ms. Koken was a founding member of International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims (ICHEIC) to represent the NAIC and served as Vice Chair. Ms. Koken served as the Commissioner of the Pennsylvania Insurance Department from 1997 to 2007. From 1977 to 1997, Ms. Koken served as the Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of Provident Mutual Insurance Company and served as an Attorney from 1975 to 1977. Ms. Koken has served on the board at the Hershey Foundation since 2016 and on the Board of Managers at the Milton Hershey School since 2015, having served as Chairman from 2021 to 2023.
