Manuel ‘Manolo’ Sanchez Rodriguez

Manuel Sanchez Rodriguez joined the Board of Directors at Fannie Mae in 2018. Mr. Rodriguez founded Adelante Ventures LLC in 2018 and serves as the Chief Executive Officer and was the Founding Advisor to Spring Labs in 2018. Mr. Rodriguez served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Compass Bank, BBVA from 2008 to 2017 and Senior Executive Vice President of Community Banking in 2008 and President of Laredo National Bank from 2005 to 2008 and Chief Risk Officer of BBVA Bancomer in Mexico from 2002 to 2005 and in various other leadership roles from 1991 to 2002. Mr. Rodriguez has served on the Board of Directors at MPOWER Financing since 2021, Stewart Title since 2019, and previously served at Topl from 2019 to 2023, BanCopple from 2019 to 2021, OnDeck from 2018 to 2020, Simple Finance from 2014 to 2017 Presidente Hoteles & Suites from 2004 to 2005, and AT&T Mexico from 2002 to 2005. Mr. Rodriguez has served on the Advisory Board at Pronto Pay since 2021, Chipper since 2020, and Securitize since 2019. Mr. Rodriguez has served on numerous non-profit boards including the Texas Children’s Hospital since 2019, the Houston Blockchain Alliance Advisory Board since 2019, the Center for Houston’s Future, Good Reasons Houston since 2017, Brighter Bites since 2017, KIPP Texas Public Schools since 2014, and The Post Oak School since 2009. Mr. Rodriguez has also been an Adjunct Professor at the Jones Graduate School of Business since 2018.
