Biography:

Mark E. Russell became Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Raytheon Technologies in July 2008. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Engineering for Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems and led the Engineering, Technology & Mission Assurance organization for Raytheon. Mr. Russell has also worked several roles in design engineering, filed testing, operations, and project and program management for communication systems. He has also managed production facilities and served as the Director of Surface Radar Engineering, and the Radar Design and Electronics Center for Raytheon’s Electric Systems business. Mr. Russell serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for The National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering and is a Member of The Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, Inc. and the American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics. Also, Mr. Russell is on the Board of Trustees for Worchester Polytechnic Institute and Joslin Diabetes Center.
