Biography:
Mark Schmeltekopf serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, with responsibility for the company’s accounting, budgeting, forecasting and profit-planning procedures, as well as financial statements and reporting, and corporate tax functions.
Schmeltekopf joined Valero in 2003 as Executive Director of External Reporting. Soon thereafter, Mark was promoted to Assistant Controller, and ultimately, Senior Vice President of Accounting, in 2012.
