Mary Lynne Hedley

Hedley is a Senior Scientific Fellow at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. She co-founded TESARO, Inc., a biotechnology company focused on oncology therapeutics, and served as its Director, President, and COO before its acquisition by GlaxoSmithKline plc. She has held executive positions at Abraxis Bioscience, Eisai Corporation, and MGI Pharma, with expertise in research and development, operations, and business development. Hedley holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Purdue University and a doctorate in molecular and cellular immunology from UT Southwestern Medical Center. She completed postdoctoral training at Harvard University. In addition to her scientific work, Hedley serves on the boards of Helsinn Healthcare SA, Veeva Systems, Inc., Centessa Pharmaceuticals plc, Youville Assisted Living Communities, and WITH (Women Innovating Together in Healthcare).
