Biography:
Michael (Mike) Abbott was appointed executive vice president, Software, at General Motors in May 2023. Prior to this role, he was vice president, Engineering at Apple Cloud Services from February 2018 to April 2023. Prior to Apple, Abbott was a Visiting Scholar at Stanford’s Artificial Intelligence Lab (SAIL) from September 2017 to December 2018. Previously, he was a General Partner with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) from December 2011 to August 2017.
