Michael J. Cavanagh

Michael J. Cavanagh has served as the President of Comcast since 2022. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Cavanagh served as the Chief Financial Officer at Comcast from 2015 to 2022. From 2014 to 2015, Mr. Cavanagh served as Co-Chief Operating Officer and Co-President of The Carlyle Group. Mr. Cavanagh served as the Co-Chief Executive Officer of JPMorgan Chase Corporate and Investment Bank of JPMorgan Chase from 2014 to 2015 and Chief Financial Officer from 2006 to 2012 and Chief Executive Officer of the treasury and securities services division from 2004 to 2006. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Cavanagh served in various leadership roles at Bank One including Head of Strategy and Planning, Treasures, Chief Administration Officer of Commercial Banking, and Chief Operating Officer of Middle Market Banking. Mr. Cavanagh is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a Trustee at Yale University, and a Director at HealthVerity.
