Biography:
Ravi Shankar is the senior vice president and head of the Freddie Mac Single-Family Portfolio & Servicing Division, a position he has held since November 2022. He is a member of Freddie Mac’s senior operating committee. His previous tenure at Freddie Mac spanned from 2013 to 2019, he served initially as senior vice president of Single-Family Portfolio Management and then as deputy head of the Investments & Capital Markets Division. Before joining Freddie Mac in 2013, he spent seven years at JP Morgan Chase in several key roles, including chief financial officer, head of Capital Markets, and portfolio manager at Chase Home Finance. Prior to that, he worked in various senior positions with Citigroup for 16 years.
