Robert D. Thomas

Robert D. Thomas has been Senior Vice President, Software and Chief Commercial Officer at IBM since January 2023; Senior Vice President, Global Markets since January 2014; and has been on the Board of Directors for Domus Kids since January 2014. He previously served IBM as Senior Vice President, Software from April 2020 to July 2021; General Manager, IBM Data and Watson AI from November 2016 to April 2020; Vice President, IBM Analytics from July 2007 to October 2016; Director, IBM Global Engineering Solutions from April 2003 to June 2007; and Associate Partner, IBM Consulting from July 1999 to November 2003. Prior to this he served as a Summer Associate Analyst at Wheat First Union from May 1998 to August 1998 and a Summer Associate Analyst at Merrill Lynch form May 1997 to August 1997.
